Steve previously worked as a Senior Optical Engineer in the semiconductor industry for the Australian based company Lednium. He was mainly responsible for the design of high-powered LED products for the automotive and illumination markets. He also spearheaded the establishment of Optical R&D laboratories and manufacturing facilities in both Australia & Malaysia. He played vital roles in securing large international projects and managing the company’s product development portfolio. Steven is a Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director of a Victorian based Fibre-Optic Sensor company, Vbragg Pty Ltd. His role has included business development and directing the research and development program of the company. He has also been successful in receiving product development grants for the company in collaboration with one of Australia’s largest sports science organisations. Steve has a PhD in optical fibre sensors and BSc (Hons) in Applied Physics.
